1996, 36 x 36 inches, oil over acrylic and cardboard on canvas with painted edges, Suwanee, Georgia studio.

This represents various Christian religions and how they perpetrate the lie that their religion saves one from Hell. That is perpetrated by darkness, and a lie that deceives millions.  It isn’t religion, but a genuine, personal, and loving relationship—becoming Born Again—making Jesus one’s Lord and Savior, that leads to Salvation and Heaven. The dark area in the center represents the accumulation of sin, from believing the lies of religion, resulting in a mass of evil that destroys those who remain unsaved.
