Self Portrait
2003, 11 x 14 x 1.5 inches, oil and sand on canvas, Clinton Township, Michigan, studio.
I hadn’t done a self portrait since completing “Affairs of the Mind and Other Abstract Concepts” in 1993. This was experimental in that I normally use a more representational style and vibrant palette. I like it. But I was in middle of building a company, doing virtually everything myself, so finding time to paint with 50-70 hours a week in the office didn’t happen often.
Original available, priced at $650USD
